No, not saying they are wrong, in MY opinion something just isn’t adding up.
Just my opinion nothing more. The rating certainly doesn’t make me re-think my purchase. Hell I drive a 1969 convertible Firebird with the top down and a lap belt is the only protection. A large part of safety is how you are driving and how much you pay attention to your surroundings.
