OK, Squeaky wheel may have worked. GM/Chevrolet called me today and asked about my "oil change problem." The person on the phone asked me to hold while he called the Service Manager. He came back on, put the Service Manager on and I have an appointment Friday morning for my oil change. SM said that his service advisor was misinformed. He apologized, I thanked him. It will take two trips to the dealer, one Mon and one Friday, but it will be done. Based on my mileage usage, I will only get one more change. I'm not doing the second one at 3,000 miles. Good to have two free. After that, I'm a do it yourself guy.
