The ZL1 has a supercharged engine so a different cam is required. The 1LE has exactly the same engine as every other manual SS on this site. As I mentioned maybe rear end gears makes a difference in cam selection, but I certainly don't see that being discussed here nor do I feel it makes much of a difference.

The rear end gear ratio can make a large cam buck less due to the engine being at a higher RPM more often.
