A good builder will take EVERYTHING about a car and its use into consideration when building a custom cam. A cam is always a good mod that adds extra power to any engine, however it's always going to leave some risks due to extra strain on the valvetrain. I think if someone is serious about adding a cam to any car they need to go with a proven builder that will custom make one to fit your needs and supporting mods.
