Really all the hassle over an oil change, an automotive equivalent of going "number two". God forbid car needed actual warranty work. Pretty much tells you what dealers to avoid, if not brands altogether.
I don't think the service dept cares about customer satisfaction any longer,,, I remember the days when the customer request was more important than their pathetic bottom line profit.

Good for you for doing your own maintenance, this way is the only way to know the work was done right,, even if you don't know how to do the work get a friend to help you
