Project Bernadette (Burn-A-Debt)

Hello all. My first post on Camaro 5, so I figured I would start with a car journal to document my project. Picked up a 2014 1SS 6 speed manual with the factory short throw shifter and npp exhaust in the beautiful Red Hot! If you can't tell from the title, her name is Bernadette. I love the car. I really wanted a 1LE, but my dealer didn't have any and the ones they were going to get had the RS package that I didn't really want. It doesn't really matter as I will be doing suspension work on it and it should handle pretty reasonably after that. My goal is to make a street killer that could handle pretty well on Auto X and maybe they occasional track day.

This is the day I picked her up at the dealer.

This is her after I plasti dipped the bowties and Camaro badges on the sides a few days later.

This is how she sits now. I was able to talk the dealer into at least buying me ZL1 replicas that would fit the tires that came with the car. They look a lot better that the factory silver wheels in my opinion, and are just to hold me off until I get some lightweight 20x10.5's with some nice tires on all fours.

Unfortunately I sold the bike that same time to compensate for some lack of funding from buying my first $35k car lol. I'll get another one eventually.

Can't blame me for getting a Roto-Fab cold air intake after selling the bike though.

That's it for now. Next step is LT headers with an SCT and dyno tune. That should hold me off for power while I start the suspension and stuff like that. I have to figure out what coil overs I want now that pedders and pfadt are no longer an option. If you have recommendations for those feel free to chime in. I've searched a lot but can't come up with a definitive answer.
