I will start off with mine.

27 Years old, v8 Manual.

I've driven Auto for 11 years, but am learning stick now before my Maro's delivered. Personally, I went with manual because I just think auto's more of a luxury, and I view the Camaro as a muscle car more than a luxury vehicle. I also like the idea of being more involved in the driving & feel of the car. I find driving auto to get to be a bit numbing and am hoping the Manual will live'n things up a bit. The more "feel" I have for the car & control, the more safe & stimulated I feel.

People will probably cringe hearing that the Camaro will be my first manual but whatever. I am forking up for lessons first before I take delivery that way I am not going to be practicing raw on the Camaro and the precious new clutch.

Am really hoping that all the positives & hype around manual hold true to my own experience when I finally start driving it & that they outweight the negative arguments I've heard against Manual. I don't wanna find myself full of regret, wishing I had ordered an auto. When I placed my order, my gut was tellin me the Camaro deserved to be stick and was worth learning to drive stick for. :P
48,v8 auto
been driving manual in my vette for 22 years and my stepside for 18 years decided i wanted an automatic this time so i can sit back and just enjoy the ride and not worry about shifting plus i like the vvt and afm plus the remote start you get with the auto also the wife could drive it if she would like to and there is nothing wrong with a manual trans enjoy it if that's what you prefer
