Yep, that is normal with a black car. However, you can minimize the swirls but making sure you use a 2 bucket system when washing the car. Rinse the washing sponge in clean water in the first bucket, and use the 2nd bucket for the soapy water. Maybe even 3 buckets if the car is really dirty and grimy. With a black car, you'll have to polish and wax more often than any other color. Invest in a Double Action polisher, several polishing pads, and your choice of quality swirl and scratch remove, polish, and wax. I have a blue car (not the Camaro) and it starts to show micro swirls and scratches after a few wipe downs. I bought the Adams Polishes pro detail kit and I am very happy with the results. Go to Adams Polished website, they have videos on how to detail a car, like removing swirls, polishing and waxing. Very informative.
