Here's my two cents in no particular order:
The price is good, but I bet you could get another $1,500 off that.
I wouldn't worry about what happened on the first 160 miles. There's only so much damage one can do on a test drive with the salesman in the car (assuming they don't let a $60k car out on a test drive alone)
I'd be a little concerned about the paint, but it's very likely not anything that can't be corrected. I'd use it as a point of negotiation. My concern is that it's been shined up often and has swirls marks. Those can be taken out, but that takes time and patience AND skill.
I'd take the new one over the used one. Not even a question in my mind. Get EXACTLY what you want when you are spending his much on a car. Don't have ANY regrets.
Be sure you are prepared to walk away. When you come that far, they will feel like you NEED to buy the car. Make it clear you will walk away without a great deal. There's plenty o fish in the sea.... Ya know?
+1 on having someone go by and look for you. I'm sure a fellow C5 freak would do that for you. I would if I lived close.
+1 on the private offer and be sure to contact Brad on this site about his GM Card deal. You could save another $500 that way.
Please post pics and good luck!
