In the fall it will cool off and be a little dryer and drop to around 6,500-7,500. I actually climb about 800 feet in altitude when driving from my house to the track. Makes racing hard because a lot of what people post from sea level simply doesn't apply when I give up 25% hp running up here. Launching being a great example of this, I can barely get the tires to spin and I am standing on the throttle, it just needs more power out of the hole to do much better.
Basically racing on a mountain with 91 octane makes many fast cars slow up here. A stock gt500 is a 13 second car all day long, if they can hook and not take it sideways.
