Getting fed up: weekend #3
This is now weekend #3 without my Camaro, all because it was keyed.
I put it in the shop on Monday 7 July. During that week the shop could do no actual repair work. Why?
Well, the Insurance Co insisted that the shop try to buff it out. The paint was broken though, on both panels. Buffing doesn't replace paint. So the shop had to try, and then when that failed, the adjuster had to make time to come by and look again. So by Wednesday this week the shop had the OK to actually do the work required. That's ten days extra. And of course they had to work on cars that they could actually work on in the meantime so that ate up time too because the guy that was on my car got pulled off for another job. In effect- I'm first in line but I still get to wait.
