Right now you can get $2,000 Consumer Cash on 2014 models. So that would be $28,480. This is where dealers say they are giving you $$ off instead of giving you a dealer invoice discount for a 2014 model. For some reason dealers aren't in a rush to get rid of the 2014 models, so there is no incentive to give you a bigger discount other than what GM is offering. I still see some 2013 SS models sitting on dealer inventory around the country, for some reason they don't want to give any discounts and would rather let them sit on their lot than sell them. Someone in another thread even said they found a 2012 on a lot brand new!

If you can get the military, college, or credit union discount, it would drop it by another $1,000 or so.

Then you have the Private offers: Conquest Cash $1,500, GM $1,000 Private Offer, or USAA $750 discount - only 1 can be used but some say Conquest and GM Private Offer can be stacked).

And don't let any dealer BS you with "Market Value" markup or savings.

A local dealer told me the 1,500 Conquest and 1,000 PO can stack but not the 750 USAA discount with the 1,000 PO. I got it writing through email for proof too
