During my time driving I only had three accidents, all minor in nature. Me and my parents fixed the damage with our own money or the insurance company would of jacked up our rates. So we didn't report it.
Luckily the accidents I been in didn't really damage anyone else. Its good to have great coverage, but unless the damage is thousands upon thousands or dollars, your vehicle is totaled, or God forbid injured yourself or someone it isn't worth using.
