I am 22 as well, turning 23 in the next months...I pay about 160 a month for a V8 truck and I have never been cited for a moving violation.....
I have progressive (which the rates are similar to state farm here in Florida) and requested a quote for the G8 GT (assuming that is the most similar vehicle to the 400hp camaro)...my rates nearly doubled even without a moving violation....so I think it is pretty clear we will have to give an arm and leg to drive this vehicle, but I am more than willing. I plan on probably 200-250 a month on insurance and after all my down payments another 300 a month to put the damn thing in my drive way...but to me, this car is worth the hit until I turn 25. By the time I get this car I will be 24, so its only a year? remember we still have a year or so till most of us can get hands on this vehicle at MSRP.....
