Unfortunately, the allocation, is the most important item in all this. Look back thru the pages, The Viz and jrhaus explain how this works. If your dealer does not have allocation, you will probably never see your car. You say he has 5 on order, that's fine, how many more allocations does your dealer have, are you 1 of them, and what month are the allocations for? Your order date is 07-27, I ordered on 07-18, GM didn't accept the order until 08-03, my dealers allocation was for August. It does take a little time. Ask your dealer the point blank questions, make them give you an answer, only for the fact so that you know how long it's going to be.
