for those of you who have tried these, how do they compare width wise to the stock rear guard?

I am still contemplating ordering the stock GM 2013 rear shields:
CHEVROLET GM OEM 22895337 Rear Bumper-Splash Shield
CHEVROLET GM OEM 22895336 Rear Bumper-Splash Shield

this way, the car will maintain the OEM look. I have seen a few threads on here where the guys started with the above GM parts and cut off the recessed section and installed them similar to the ebay versions.

thoughts?

thanks
tony
