All of these issues have made me make a decision - I'm going to buy a solid isolator, likely from Lingenfelter, and change that part myself. The blower as an assembly is not the problem, just the isolator. Changing the isolator alone is less invasive, and I like that.
I also love to work on my own cars.

I have fairly refined skills when it comes to working on cars, and I bought the full set of repair manuals which include our ZL1s and the blower.
There's also an online video to help.
