Well,
Good news bad news....
Good, Corey is about ready to cut out the velocity stacks for my custom intake on a 3D printer... Form there we will make them up to the flanges and then determine the fit. After all is good, we will have them cut out of aluminum...
Corey said the latest he has heard is the block is about ready, and all the other pieces parts are there waiting on the block... Pistons, crank, rods etc.... heads are in process to be delivered.... Granted, it will take a while to assemble and check everything... but taking the time to do it right is fine with me...
Valves were upgraded from lash caps to hardened steel tips... Turbo parts are being coated, and the dry sump conversation has started with Bill Dailey...
Still waiting on George from RSG to send an RMA so we can send the trans off, but there is no hurry...
I'll take Brandi down to a friends shop when I get home to see about getting the interior rebuilt... The new roll cage has removed any chance of re-installing any factory bits... but I knew it would... no biggee... Chris Byrd has an incredible knack for making interiors that look incredible from scratch.... The dash and seats will be factory, as will the carpet, but the rest of it will all be one off parts.... kick panels, rear side panels, and the head liner...
Now the not so good news, but it's ok.... Right is better than in a hurry and missing something.... Brandi will not be ready for the Mile in October.... but come March, hang the hell on.... Gonna be exciting... to say the least...
I have work, Corey will be gone for a week to Speed Week in Salt Lake, I'll be in Seattle for a week starting August 18.... and there is just too much to do....
However, if we go to the mile and make the showing we want, i'll be heading to Limestone Maine
