Your thoughts make perfect sense.
In order to save myself a lot of abuse from fellow members calling my car a Garage Queen, which very honestly it is, if you knew how low the mileage was on my car, you'd know that there couldn't yet be any metal debris contamination from the spring wearing into the shaft!
For my specific situation, I think that an isolator change alone will be perfect for me.
