You are awfully testy for a forum vendor. I only stated my impression after I did the fuse pull and that I'd never seen any test results confirming the benefit. I have no doubt there are different fuel maps. What I questioned is that once knock or reduced octane is no longer detected after a set period that the computer wont revert back to the high octane map on its own. Hell, 30 years ago OBD I would go back to closed loop if the problem that set the SES light didn't recur after a set amount of time. Nevertheless, all I stated was that I'd like to see an actual test, one that shows that the fuel map will not return to high octane unless you do the fuse pull.
