Wow guys...the check for my car was here the whole time. It got sent to my Grandma's house (she's signing for me, and yes, I can make the payments lol). She misplaced it because she didn't know the check was in there. I guess she was expecting a thin envelope with just a check in it. The envelope was thick and had a bunch of other paperwork in it so she didn't see the check.
Thank God we went there today because my Mom found it. She had actually called today and told PenFed to put a stop on the check which would have taken 2-3 days, and then they would've overnighted another one. Thankfully, they were able to cancel the stop in time, and I can still use the check.
Today is my birthday, but I will be able to get my car tomorrow, after 8 months of waiting, so I'm excited!
