Ok check THIS video out; this is a Porsche 917 doing one lap at LeMans. And take note when he opens up on the Mulsanne straight...THAT is the real deal. Those kinds of speeds produces that tunnel-vision effect where things are going by so fast on the sides you can only see clearly in front.

Now after watching the 917 run, go back and look at your video of supposedly going the same speeds as the Porsche. In your video the signs on the side of the road going by look no different than they do when I'm on the freeway going to work and you're supposedly doing 170 mph??
Sorry dude... I'm flying the flag on this one.

In his defense the RPM in 5th gear matches up exactly with what it should. (no gearing tricks). Punch in the SRT8 info into any gear calculator and it will line up with the video. I fully believe a stock SRT8 can breach 170 (Remember a 300rwhp C5 Corvette is good for a little over 175mph stock) so a modded one should be able too as well.

The only thing I was saying is 190 doesn't look possible given the acceleration speed at the end though I fully believe he could have made it near 180mph.
