I just told them to replace the wheels with new ones under warranty. It is very difficult to match the factory paint on those wheels. You definitely need to walk around the car before and after any time you have work done. The paint is really soft on these wheels.

Lucky for you there that it was at the dealer and they were able to replace them under warranty. With the tire shops they want to re paint. I guess I am lucky it was all 4 wheels scratched so they will have to paint all of them. My only concern is quality of the paint and workmanship compared to OEM. On my past two wheels which were aftermarket. After the repair it was never the same again. The paint was bubbled and had ripples. Also, it seemed they just paint over existing which filled up the lettering distorting them. They ended up replacing my wheel after they saw those issues.

Hopefully that will not happen as I don't want to have to argue again to have them replace the wheels although that would be a better option for me.
