Yeah all the things you mentioned (poping, drone) those are all joys for aftermarket exhausts. As for your Borlas sounding louder. Do you have the s-type kit? If you do the mufflers are glass packs, and glass packs fill with carbon as you drive which fills in all the fiber glassm which basically turns everything solid and making it a straight pipe.
