Looking at trading my 12 SS in on a 14 ZL1

My SS is an automatic and the ZL1 is a manual

I have driven an SS with the stock shifter but never the ZL1 if I'm not mistaken the ZL1 gets a different short throw shifter is that correct?

I am concerned shifting in stop and go traffic where as now put in drive and go unless playing in manual mode

This isn't a question of auto vs manual its about the shifter and the throws

The only automatic is 1500 mies away and 6 speed 800

Would really appreciate any input
