It's probably a dealer-installed spiff. They used to do a Z22 for the Cavalier base models.
If I owned that car, there would be lots of de-badging going on, not limited to ditching the dealer plate frames, the dealer decal on the back window, and probably discarding the Z26 decals since, well, I'm old enough to remember, and have loved, the Chevy Beretta. GM FWD performance, FTW
