So you're saying these old cars are just the same old cars that have been around for 20 years so were tired of looking at them?
It sounds like the event had no intention of handing out an award to newer cars and used them to get money. I've seen events like this and do not go to them. There should be clear distinction and split it up between certain year and newer/older and overall show winner. Old cars are nice to look at but most these guys never drive their car except to shows and then back to their garage. I'd rather see a car that gets used and not just sit.
