Lol, I wouldn't say reinventing the wheel would be necessary in this case
While I wouldn't necessarily say the Vette and GT are in different leagues of each other in potential performance. The GT is just marketed differently and obviously a different drivetrain set-up.
I agree I kinda would like to see Ford have a traditional competitor in the same class as the corvette. Something similar in price as well, since the GT is normally way up there in super car territory.
