The oil drainage paths in these engines are HUGE. Chances are it will wash down into the pan. The oil pickup to the oil pump has a large screen over it. It will stay in the pan or stick to the inside of the sump somewhere until someone removes the oil pan. If it disintegrates enough to get through the screen it will get caught in the filter as designed. Drive the car and change the oil every 3000 to 5000 miles as most do. Don't flame me. Unless you're going to drive at the ragged edge every day keep on cruisin'.
