Lol I will be test driving one to know exactly what I'll be missing. Although I don't expect it to make me cancel my Mustang order. The 1LE is more akin to the best they could do to the SS Camaro at the end of it's chassis life. Just like the Boss is to the S197. The s197 didn't have a z28 competitor so that's a moot argument that I'm sure will be brought up. That said, I wouldn't cancel my order just to get the best an old chassis had to offer, as I believe the S550 is a better platform to start from given the differences in the packaging of the track based packages. I would however trade that Mustang in or cancel it if the new 6th gen came out and I liked what it had to offer.

Disappointed or not as I am with Ford, I am still excited to get my Mustang. I'm a big fan of them, I have history with them. I also really enjoy the heritage of the Mustang. IMO the mustang has a lot more going for it than performance numbers and currently that means more to me than the Camaro winning at the track. However give me two years with the Mustang and I might be over that and want to go with the better performer. We shall see. Either way, I see either one of these generation of cars being in my Garage for a very long time. Might be the last generation of affordable V8's.
