Yeah it will be cheaper, but it still won't be near the car that the ZL1 is. I guess it really depends what you want. If you're a budget drag racer then yeah the SS would probably be the better route to go, in the short term. The LSA is already set up for boost, lower compression, oil squirters, (some) forged internals.
