That and Honda is known for having crap automatic transmissions. If you didn't have a failure in a car from 1998 and beyond within 100K miles then you are lucky. That and if you drive in "severe" conditions which is over 90 degrees (or Phoenix where I live) there transmission fluid change interval is every 30K. Ouch.

I put gas it it too. thought we were talking suspension but anyway... I did do the Honda timing belt at 100k as the maintenance manual suggest and change the oil with Mobil 1 and K&N filter every 4000. Honda automatics have a drain plug so I drain and fill it ever oil change. Takes 3-1/2 quarts so I buy it by the case. Her second Honda now has 51k on it also without issue.

The GTO is now at 96k and has had a clutch, brakes, struts and suspension bushings. I've replaced the fluid in the rear once, drained and filled the transmission twice and replace the serpentine belt.

Maintenance IMO but I understand if you see it different. I actually thought it was shitty that the GTO struts and bushing were shot at 80k after the Honda held up so well.

Bottom-line is I keep my cars 10 years so I take care of them and have been fortune that they have been trouble free

Edit: and plugs, wires and air filters. No motor mounts
