The V6 crowd will say S/C your car!
The V8 crowd will say don't waste your time and trade up.
It all depends on you personally.
For me I have too much invested in the car and love the way it handles. I plan on buying the IPF S/C very soon and then I'll be good. I'll have basically a V6 1LE with all the mods I've added below shown in my signature. I don't have any desire to create a 700+ HP car. As a full time DD the stock V6 are hard to beat on MPG + fun factor.
If you only have a few simple bolt on mods to your car now I would say trade up if it makes since finically. The V8 is a great car the you can mod the hell out of it. The upper end HP mods are endless on the 5th Gen. But I do see a lot of 700+ HP V8 cars that are never driven. If you want a lightly DD then a stock SS with some exterior mods is awesome.
