My only concern, is there already proven experience with this exact clutch/flywheel setup? I've seen folks lose weight here on other cars (not 427) and then create harmonics problems that breaks cranks or loosens the dampener bolt.

It's a first class mod package, well done!

I have used Tilton Carbon ceramic clutch/flywheel set ups in 4 of my previous builds, all with great success. Remember, it is a race clutch set up, it is just a bit sensitive/grabby on take off but other than that it is all bonus from there
If someone is getting harmonics it must be from something not installed correctly, could be several things: Run out on bell housing, clutch not disengaging all the way, air gap at installed free height, etc.......
Note i also put an ATI Harmonic Damper on the car due to it revs much faster and will be run much harder than in stock form.

With a small 7 1/4 clutch set up, you almost have to go the carbon version (mine is) otherwise the metalic version is just to WAAAAYYYY to grabby to get the car to drive off from a stop without a allot of RPM and clutch slip. Then the metalic plates do not like that kind of heat from the slippage and they warp. The Carbon version does not mind it at all.

Regarding the stock vette and Porsche comment The car is already faster than either of them on the track with all cars being stock (tires, alignment, etc....)

Thx,
Derek
