20% all around here, in north Florida. I held off for 4 years for no real reason. Shouldn't have as it's the best thing I've done besides headers haha. Definitely worth it, but as mentioned it depends where you live. Florida, the police don't care so long as it's not pitch black. Their concern is to be able to see you inside, at least a silhouette.
20% isn't too dark. I would've done 15 or maybe 10% if I did it again. I drive with my Windows partly down everywhere though, sub rattles my car apart with them up. Bass problems.
