there are some turn signal bulbs with an srck socket that have both power to the filaments on the same side which will cause the bulb to short out and possibly cause a burnt relay etc if installed in the oem Camaro socket. I don't know a whole lot about this subject but do know that the LS uses the turn bulbs as drl also and runs pwm current to them to reduce the illumination during the day. This is all done by the body computer module and you may have burnt the BCM up also.
You might be best to put on your original lights and harness and look at purchasing RS lights and harness from the guy on the forum that builds all the harness plug and plays.
