[QUOTE=Explit Player;8052312]Began my first attempt at paint correction and polishing, in my opinion, it looks good so far. What do you guys think? Any tips? I have the Chemical Guys porter cable bundle that came with Orange, white, black, blue, and red pads. V32,34,36, and 38. I use the motion that everyone says to use, up and down till you get to one side, then left to right and then repeat 3 or 4 times.
So any tips or tricks?? Open to any advise on it haha.
Looking good. I'm due to do this again this year. Basically I follow the Junkman videos on YouTube.
1. Two bucket wash with pool dry and leaf blower dry.
2. Clay bar
3. Paint correction with cutting compound: Meguiars M205 Mirror Glaze using white pad on the DA.
4. Seal with Chemical Guys Jet Seal
5. Wax with liquid carnauba wax.
Takes at least one full day if not a day and a half.
