Applying touch up paint to actually look good
Hello,
Just nicked my door edge with the stupid lawn mower. It's very small, but none the less, it is there.
The first thing I plan to do is get the real touch up paint from the dealership. I've heard that applying it with a toothpick is better, but my real question is, can the touchup paint be rubbed down, or buffed, to be smooth with the real paint. It's so small, I'm not going to mess with clear coat (for now at least). How workable is this stuff when it comes to making it 'really' match the original paint?
