Your delusional to compare the depreciation of the Camaro to the Civic. It would be closer to a car like the Corvette. There will always be people who want these cars.
You ever wonder why Mercedes or BMW value can go from 60k to next to nothing over 20 years yet pickup trucks start lower but never get much below 5k for a decent one. Both are mass produced; hell, way more pickups on the road.
You look at what a dealer is willing to pay, but people will be modding used versions of these cars for years to come. Long after the Benzes and Beamers have been left for dead or worse have 30s put under them to roll around the hood.
I hope they do go through the floor so I can pick up a supercharged one and maybe one for each of my girls. I'll just start Camaro acres.
