Before I got my 2SS, I had a Scion tC (I called it the Tiny Camaro waiting to one day grow up to be a real Camaro

). I had to get a new key as mine had come apart, so I had to go to the a local dealership to replace it. I walk inside and this lady walks up and asked if she could help me, so I stated I needed a new key for my car. She gets a smile on her face and says, "well why don't you just get a new car". I laughed and nicely said "No thanks, I'm wait on something already". She asked me what I was waiting for and I told about the Camaro. She looked me right in the eye and said, "Oh, well you know they are only making 10,000 of them and this is the only year of that car." I got hot right away and said NO that's not true because 30K have been put on preorder right now and dealerships are looking to have the 2011 run with convertibles next year. She then said, well with today economy who can really afford a $45k car? I told her mine was $37k. The she told me how poorly built American cars are and how much better Japanese are built. I looked at her and asked her, "If that was true then why am I here replacing something as simple as a car key on my Japanese car? If they can't get a simple key right the how am I suppose feel about the whole car??? Now give me my damn new key!"
