Excuse me for a minute while I climb up on this box....

Ok... huff'in and puff'in...

A motorcycle helmet is designed for impact and abrasion resistance...

An automotive helmet is designed for impact and flame resistance...

A motorcycle helmet exposed to excessive heat, as in a car fire will shrink wrap itself to yourself...

Wait a bit until I get off the rig and come on down to my neck of the woods and I'll personally drive you over to the Simpson World Headquarters and introduce to a few peeps and get you fitted for a helmet... Here's the deal, if you decide on a helmet and they dont have it in stock, they will make it.... I ordered mine one day and picked it up the next... Yup, they build them right there in New Braunfels Texas...

Barring the ability or time to come down my way,

Check this place out...
