IMO the G8 pedal modification first done by TeccBoxx and followed by others including myself is a better, less expensive option

http://www.gmpartsdirect.com sells the automatic G8 accelerator and brake cover - part # 92214916 for $69.16, list is $95, plus shipping. The thread above has the manual pedal cover part numbers.

As always do what you like best - I'm just giving my opinion. Also be sure of the underlying brake pedal and how the accelerator pedal is designed to be sure your pedal mod will work without much hassle. Good luck.
