RACE FORMAT:

South Georgia Motor sports Park April 18th 2015

Event is open to any domestic cars and trucks. No imports or bikes. This event is catered towards Street cars, tag and registration required any tires can be ran, even slicks.

Gates open 9am till 6pm

Cost to Race $30 (this includes test and tune and the Autocross)

Cost to watch $10

Car show FREE with spectator ticket (sponsored by Steeda and LSR Performance)

When people fill out their tech cards we will ask them if they want to Test and Tune all day or will they want to test and then compete in an open comp format.

We will run grudge racing until noon or 1pm (T&T). At that time we will put everyone competing into 3 groups that are close in ET and a forth group that is a quick 8 or 16. This forth group will be the only group ran heads up. The 3 groups will be ran open comp style. I would like that everyone that signed up to compete can actually compete.

Once we break everyone into groups we will start eliminations. Example, Group 1, lanes 1 & 2. Group 2, lanes 3&4. Group 3 lanes 5&6. Lanes 7 & 8 can stay open for people just testing and tuning. Once most of the cars are eliminated we can cycle in the quick 8/16 for them to compete heads up.

It’s been suggested by the racers to keep Test and Tune lanes open all day as some people don’t want to compete.

The Autocross will be run in the large parking lot from the hump to the gas pumps. Jamie and his crew will run the autocross course. Their involvement on Sat is contingent on them running their event on Sunday April 19th.

We will make awards for the Car show (Best Ford, Chevy and Mopar) and the 4 class winners.
