For our cars negative DA is the best. DA or Density Altitude, is the overall atmospheric pressure which includes: temperature, humidity, and barometric pressure. The colder outside, the better. But not like 30* cold. Like 50s. My best 60' was 2.08 and that was when I was bone stock. It was 52 outside. And the DA was -700 ft. And it helps when your track is close or a bit above sea level. State Capitol Raceway is about 60 ft above sea level
