Man if push comes to shove I would just stick the thing in the dash...no way should you put the thing on the front of the car. I have some cop friends who have said they wouldn't put it on the front either and they wouldn't give tickets to anyone who didn't....it depends on the cop you get and in a small town it's even worse....I have lived in a few so I know. When I get mine it will go right on the dash....even though I don't want it too, better than drilling holes into the front.....
