I installed a MGW Shifter after missing a no-lift shift on the stock shifter at the track on a stage one package that put down 570 rwhp/570 rwtq. For me, the stock shifter did not engage quick enough as the power level increased.

I rarely have missed a shift on the street or track with the MGW shifter at the current power levels (670 rwhp/630 rwtq), but I do not No-Lift shift anymore. To0 risky on the street on with Factory rubber and too costly at the track at this level.

Pros; Shorter throw and solid direct engagement. The shifter is a work of art. I wish the billet housing and platform could be exposed somehow.

Only Con. The spring is tighter and you will need more effort on gear engagement. You will get you used to it and probably like it more after a week or so. I know I did.

Hope that helps
