In one of the latest Head to Head episodes http://youtu.be/F5F18o8xayA , where they pit the new 2015 Z06 vs the Nissan GT-R Nismo, something slightly unexpected happens in the end with Randy Pobst, hell, even at the very start when they 0-60/1/4 mile them. The much more anemic AND heavier Nissan still beats the Z06 !

Getting to the point here, that Z06 had the 7 speed manual whilst the Nissan had 100% electro goodies goodness going for it on that Streets of Willow Springs track, so many would ask, why didn't they use a Z06 with the auto version instead to make it more equal? Randy though did make an interesting note towards the end of the video, that the Z06 barely lost any time with the manual 7 speed under his hands. The car simply lacked traction, and was all over the place compared to the GT-R Nismo.

I still would have liked to have seen them use a non-stick Z06 for their straight line 1/4 mile times vs the GT-R, as this is where any auto shines imho, and that is from a dead stop. Add 4WD to this, and you got the ultimate McDonalds ride!!!

BTW, that Head to Head was very disappointing to me
