It is kind of like the carbureted 350 guys who just cant get behind EFI and modern motors and wont run them. Are the newer EFI motors better in almost every regard, probably yes. Do most people who have grown up with the EFI motors think the 350 Carbureted guys are a little silly and not with the times for not wanting to make the switch, yup, a lot of times yes they do. Will our kids have 4 and 6 cylinder motors that have a lot more HP along with better fuel economy than what we are used to and have grown up with, probably. And then they will think we are the silly ones who are sticking with our LS motors when there are Twin Turbo 4 cylinders being made that are way faster. Most generations stick to what they knew and grew up with, that's where their heart and memories are. It will be the same for generations to come as these engines and vehicles evolve, you'll always have the guys who "Miss the good old days", and you'll always have people who are embracing and moving forward with the new technology.

Hopefully that makes sense, its Friday and its been a long week haha!
Heck, I feel like any naturally aspirated motor, 6 or 8, will be a rarity eventually. (Good news for us v6 guys!)
