The argument between FI V6s and V8s sounds a lot like the stuff people said about fuel injection being implemented or for that matter the idea of a "horseless carriage". Progress comes in many forms, and power is going to be more important to most of you than how many cylinders you have under the hood. Eventually, you'll find that out when you try it. The vast majority of people I've met who have this "V8 only" mentality haven't cracked open their hood for anything other than an oil change. It's disappointing for a group who claims to defend the superior way of doing things. At one point, people not that different said they'll never buy fuel injection. Someday, those choices might be taken away from you. Accept the fast car on virtue of being fast.
