I'll agree about not being sure on the fit in terms of style of running back. However, McCoy is much shiftier than Spiller was, and Spiller did well in Buffalo. McCoy could easily fit this role with his higher level of speed.
Additionally, the Bills defense is already pretty stout...losing a LBer off a knee injury won't hurt them...
Their offense however..... what the Bills should have been trying to do is get Foles..or Hoyer..or even Sanchez....or anyone not named McCown...
